Lempriere Grain Direct is Lempriere Grain’s new grain marketing approach, involving marketing Australian grain producer’s grain direct to targeted mill’s. The benefits of this approach are detailed below;

  1. Producer to Customer: Lempriere Grain Direct involves the delivery of grain from committed producer direct to an overseas customer’s mill. Participants will receive feedback and communication straight from the mill, ensuring they are informed about current customer needs.
  2. Customer to Producer: Customers value the ability to be able to trace the grain back to the farm where it was produced and get to know all the good things done on farm. Lempriere Grain Direct will provide customers this traceability.
  3. Valuable Relationships: Lempriere Grain Direct brings participating producers and customers closer together with the aim of building a long term commercial relationship and better understanding each other’s needs.
  4. Reduced Co-mingling: Lempriere Grain Direct will work to ensure the integrity of participants produce is retained by significantly reducing co-mingling.
  5. Improved Price Control: Participants will see a ‘live’ export market price on any given day, enabling the participating producer to regain some price control in the marketing of their grain.
  6. Low Credit Risk: Lempriere Grain Direct follows a set of rigorously developed steps to ensure credit risk for the participating grower is minimised. This process is fully detailed within.
  7. Commodity to Brand: Where possible, participants will learn which brands and markets their grain has gone into.
